KCSD Adds 4th Dog, Continues Sharing with Other Departments as Needed

The Knox County Sheriff’s Department has just added its fourth canine office, as “Uzzi” joins three other working dog officers. The addition allows the Department to have a dog on every shift if needed.

Each dog the Department gets has been specially bred and trained for police work. The last one—K-9 “Uzzi”—was imported from a police dog training center in Europe.
