The Knox County Council has approved a renewal of a debt fund loan of 950-thousand dollars for the Vincennes Township Fire Department. V-T-F-D chief Tim Smith wants the continued funding for both a roof to the location on Schoolhouse Road, and for the joint training center on Perdue Road. That joint training center is under construction; both Vincennes City and Vincennes Township departments will use the joint facility.
The loan will be paid back over five years. Council approved the motion unanimously.
