Just under a week remains for people to donate “care items” for U-S troops, veterans, and their families. The month long drive is sponsored by the group “Supporting Those Who Serve.” Accepted items include sunblock, hats, socks, card games, razors, soap, non-perishable snacks, and first aid items.
The donations may be dropped off at 1723 Hart Street. All donations given by the public will go to the Vincennes V-A clinic for distribution. The care package drive will continue until Sunday.
