The Indiana Department of Transportation says lane restrictions and a road closure are planned for U.S. 41 in Gibson County Beginning on or around Thursday, July 10th, crews will close one lane of traffic on southbound U.S. 41 just south of Fort Branch between County Road 925 South and County Road 990 South. The alternating lane closures will allow for pipe replacement project preparation.
Lane closures will take two days to complete, depending on the weather.
Following this work, around Monday, July 14th, crews will close the southbound lanes of U.S. 41. This road closure will allow for the pipe replacement project.
Work is expected to take a week to complete, depending on the weather. The official detour for this project is State Road 168 to I-69 to State Road 68. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
