Florida Man Returned to Knox County to Face Escape Charge

A Florida man has been returned to the Knox County Jail to face an escape charge for allegedly removing a monitoring device from his body.
54 year-old Billy Whittaker was captured on the Knox County escape warrant in Hopkins County Kentucky. He was then returned to Knox County to face chat charge, along with a charge of operating while intoxicated.
He is being held without bond in the Knox County Jail.
