I-LEARN Scores Released; Knox County Public Schools At or Below State Average

The Indiana Department of Education has released the 2025 ILEARN assessment results, revealing mixed proficiency levels across the state.
While 40.6% of students demonstrated proficiency in English Language Arts, a slight decrease from the prior year, math proficiency saw a 1.2 percentage point increase to 42%,

For Knox County’s public schools, the Vincennes Community School Corporation had a 31.5% proficiency rate in English/Language Arts and a 32.7% proficiency rate in math.
North Knox Schools had a 31.6% ELA proficiency rate and a 31.5% proficiency rate in mathematics.
And, South Knox had a 40.4% proficiency rate in English Language Arts and a 41.6 Percent proficiency rate in math.
