Now that the rain is out o the area, it is time for the heat to move in. Temperatures through the rest of th week are expected to top back in the 90’s again.
National Weather Service forecaster Jason Puma says it won’t just be the heat that gets you—it will also be the humidity. Puma also expects a possible stray shower, but says the biggest problem will be a hot, sticky air mass.
That, combined with possible standing water from recent rains, could make this week an uncomfortable one for outside activities during the daytime hours.
