Vincennes Community Schools, along with Vincennes Catholic Schools, will get back to class tomorrow. The corporations are among the last to get back to the books in the area.
Vincennes Community Schools’ superintendent Greg Parsley says the Corporation had a great summer filling in a few spots where they needed teachers. Another hallmark of Parsley’s tenure as Superintendent is entertaining phone calls for closings and delays due to inclement weather. Parsley tells us that idea started in a school year that seemed to be overly affected by bad weather.
Today was the first day for Washington Commity, Washington Catholic and Barr-Reeve Schools. North Knox, South Knox, and North Daviess schools all started on Tuesday.
