Summertime’s Combo of Heat and Rain Possible Again

The weather forecast may head back to a familiar trend so far this summer—warm weather followed by a chance for rain.
National Weather Service forecaster Jason Puma expects the next three days to be in the 90’s again—with near triple-digit heat indices. After that, Puma notes storms are possible to get the next week underway.

At this time, for this area, the chance of rain early next week ranges from 20 to 40 percent. However, that could change as we get into the weekend.
