The Indiana Department of Transportation says alternating lane closures on U.S. 231/State Road 54 near Bloomfield in Greene County are scheduled to begin today (Monday) for asphalt patching work.
They will take place between the White River Bridge and the town limits on the west side of Bloomfield.
Work is expected to take a month to complete, depending on the weather.
Temporary traffic signals will be used for traffic control.
IN-DOT has delayed the closing of U.S. 231 in Martin and Daviess Counties.
The closing had been scheduled for today (Monday) for chip and seal work.
No reason for the delay was given and no new date has been scheduled.
