A Vincennes-based group is actively working to help teachers keep their classrooms inviting, and their wallets safe. The Vincennes Education Foundation has again given tens of thousands of dollars in grants to various teachers for various school supplies for this school year.
Michelle Smith is the director of the Vincennes Education Coundation. As a former elementary teacher herself, she knows the need—and how her group helps to fill it. Smith says those 500 dollar V-E-F grants add up.
Since the V-E-F is a non-profit group, they rely for various donations from across the community. More information is available on their Facebook page.
