2024 was not a good year for farm fatalities in Indiana. The number of those fatalities grew from 15 in 2023, to 28 last year.
Farm safety expert Ed Sheldon reports many of those who died in farm-related accidents are over the age of 55.
Farm safety specialists remind all farmers and farm hands to continue sharpening up on farm safety procedures. They also reminds farm families to ensure all farm activities are being done in the safest way possible.
