The United Way of Knox County will hold its annual Days of Caring this Thursay and Friday across the county. The activities include work at various donor non-profits that get funding from the United Way of Knox County.
One of those is the Vincennes YMCA. Bill Davis is with the YMCA; he knows in past years, various groups have been busy with projects there. United Way of Knox County director Scott Charleston also states groups of high schoolers have also pitched in for the two days of assistance.
The other part of the Days of Caring is food donations at local grocery and general stores across the county. Days of Caring volunteers will collect non-perishable grocery items for use by food banks across the County on Thursday and Friday.
