A month-long Petersburg sting operation to find online child predators resulted in four arrests.
Police deployed decoys acting as young children on social media sites. After having a sexually explicit conversation with a supposed 13-year-old child, one of them traveled to meet the child.
Petersburg Police arrested 44-year-old Jason Loveless of Petersburg for Felony Child Solicitation when he arrived. Other arrests included 38-year-old Andrew Brothers of Greencastle for Child Solicitation; 30-year-old Kyle Nelson of Princeton for Child Solicitation; and 34-year-old Logan McKinney of Huntingburg for Inappropriate Communications with a Child.
