The fall harvest season, and wrap-up of construction season, are in place right now across the area. With the end of construction next month, winter weather season is not far away.
Indiana Department of Transportation spokesman Gary Bryan reminds everyone to practice the basics of safe driving. Bryan also reminds everyone of INDOT’s one place to get the latest in road construction—and later, road hazard—conditions.
For their part, INDOT officials have been actively checking their equipment to move from road duty to snow and ice-clearing duty.
