Daviess County Foundation Gives Teacher Grants

Daviess County’s Our Community Foundation has announced the recipients of the Teaching Innovator Grant for the fall semester projects.
      Washington Catholic Schools received a $250 grant to support the Every Step Counts Project.
      John Howell accepted the award and was named a Teaching Innovator.
      The Every Step Count Project will introduce pedometers into PE classes to help students improve their movement, set personal fitness goals, and take ownership of their physical health.
