A noted downtown expert is trying to help her hometown attract more business into vacated downtown Vincennes buildings. Recently, Ellen Harper has rejoined the effort to match buildings with developers.
Harper says one of the top items on her list is finding someone to take on the vacated Old Chicago building at Sixth and Main. However, Harper says that is not the only structure she is targeting for future occupation—if she and her group can find the right developer.
This is Harper’s second round in helping boost downtown Vincennes. The other time, she was head of the downtown group In-Vin.
