Sullivan Man Arrest in Connection with Officer-Involved Shooting

      An arrest has been made in an officer involved shooting last month in the City of Sullivan.
      Indiana State Police say Sullivan County Sheriff’s deputy Landin Huff shot 31-year-old Kylan Holbert of Sullivan during a domestic situation on November 18th when Holbert ran towards officers with a knife and refused orders to drop it.
      Holbert was arrested upon his release from the hospital on charges of Aggravated Battery, Intimidation by Drawing or Using a Deadly Weapon, Battery by Means of a Deadly Weapon,
Criminal Recklessness Committed with a Deadly Weapon, and Domestic Battery with a Prior Conviction.
      Police say this is an active and ongoing investigation.
