The North Knox School Board has accepted a nearly four-thousand dollar gift from the United Way of Knox County. The U-W-K-C gift is for tutoring of students from Kindergarten through third grade.
In other business, the North Knox School Board has approved an agreement with Good Samaritan Hospital. The agreement allows G=S-H to use North Knox facilities and buses if needed, in case of a large-scale disaster or emergency.
Board members passed both of those motions unanimously.
