The month of December means some changes for meeting dates for the City of Vincennes.
The Vincennes Board of Works held its last scheduled session of 2025 yesterday at City Hall. Board members’ only business item was approval of a grant application for repairs to the Bandshell in Gregg Park.
The other session will be for Vincennes City Council. That annual claims-only last meeting of the year will be held a week later than normal. Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum says that meeting was moved a week to make it easier to handle routine end of year business. Many City departments will take that time to make transfers and other needed items to square their budgets going into 2026.
