Vincennes Police report a good wrapup for 2025, and optimism heading into the new year that his here.
Among the continuing processes is filling three vacancies on the City police force. Also, the biggest activity toward the end of last year was the annual City Police “Shop with a Cop” program. That is a partnership between City Police, other law enforcement agencies, PACE Head Start, and the Vincennes Wal-Mart. Vincennes Police Chief Jon Hillenbrand reports the preschool shopping spree helped nearly 100 young children.
Hillenbrand is also reminds everyone the City Police Department will be involved with helping Vincennes residents as needed throughout 2026.
