The Vincennes Lincoln Lady Alices were defeated last night at Princeton 66-45. The Lady Alices drop to 7-9 on the year; they face Evansville Central next on Wednesday of next week.
In boys basketball:
White River Valley and Shoals advance in the Greene County Invitational. The host Wolverines defeated Pike Central 67-60, with Shoals downing Day School 54-35.
In the Consolation blacket tonight, Pleasantview Christian faces Dugger Union, with Day School facing Pike Central. The semifinals tomorrow night feature Loogootee versus Shakamak, and Shoals playing homestanding WRV. The final four games of the annual tournament will be played on Saturday.
The game between North Knox and Washington tomorrow night will be moved up one hour. The game at North Knox between the Warriors and Hatchets will have a five p-m JV tip, with the Varsity game to follow.
The Vincennes Lincoln C-Team defeated Terre Haute South 27=19. Braylen Sanders led the Alices’ effort with 17 points.
In middle school action:
The Vincennes Lincoln 8th grade girls defeated Mount Carmel 41-29. Mauriana Moore led the 8th graders with 18.
The L-H-S 8th grade boys move to 11-2 with a 50-22 win over Pike Central. Daveon Jennings led with 21; Cayden Trueblood scored 12.
The South Knox 7th grade boys’ team defeated Vincennes Rivet 36-25. Rylan Coomes led the Spartans in that game with 13 points.
