Knox County Chamber of Commerce president Jamie Neal is resigning after eight years with the organization. The resignation is due to what is being called a new professional opportunity; details are expected sometime in the future. Her last day as Chamber director will be January 23rd.
Chamber officials praise her for her outstanding service. During her tenure, membership tripled and numerous new benefits and value-added programs were developed to support local businesses.
In 2021, the Knox County Chamber was named Indiana Chamber of the Year, and that same year Neal was honored as Indiana Chamber Executive of the Year. The search for Neal’s replacement will begin immediately.
