Don’t look now, but winter is returning to the area—with bitterly cold conditions returning to the area.
National Weather Service forecaster Matt Eckhoff says the forecasted conditions today are quite different from earlier this week.
Friday will show a one-day rebound into the 40;s, before temperatures start to drop again. At this point, highs look to be in the 20’s in this area Sunday and Monday, with 30’s the rule Tuesday to Thursday of next week. Lows through that time period are forecast in the teens.
