Knox County Basketball Recap for Friday

The North Knox Lady Warriors defeated Shoals last night 78-19 at home. Lexi Primus led the Warrior attack with 24 points.
The Rivet Patriots lost to the Lady Lions of Loogootee last night 48-35. Alli Stearns had a double-double in the Rivet defeat, with 19 points and 11 rebounds.
The North Knox Warriors and Clark Middle School Alices split 7th and 8th grade results las night. In the 8th grade game, North Knox won 43-36 in overtime. Nate Kerns led for North Knox with 20, while Brody Kerns had 17. Lincoln was paced by 15 from Cayden Trueblood, and 13 out of Daveon Jennings. C-M-S took the 7th grade game 27-17 over the Warriors.
The South Knox 7th and 8th grade boys teams won over Princeton. In the 8th grade game, the Spartans win 42-25 behind 20 from Arrex Wall. The 7th grade team won 47-14 with Easton Dycus scoring 18 and Rylan Coomes adding ten.
The Vincennes Lincoln Alices travel to Evansville North tonight to face the Huskies. Tip time is at 8 pm; hear the game on 92.1, WZDM.
The North Knox Warriors travel to Shoals tonight. Start time is set for around 7:30; that game is on 105.7, WUZR.
The Rivet Patriots and South Knox Spartans both have off nights tonight; they will play again tomorrow night. Saturday night, South Knox is at Bloomfield, while Rivet travels to North Central.
