Last night:
The Vincennes Lincoln Alices were defeated by the Mater Dei Wildcats 56-52. Leyton Battles led LHS with 20 in the defeat, with Colton York adding 9. The Alices are scheduled back in action this Friday night, when they face county rival South Knox.
In a three-overtime thriller last night at Southridge, the South Knox Spartans lost to the Southridge Raiders 74-69. Sophomore Levi Loundermilk had a career high 31 in the defeat. The Spartans are now 7-6 as they ready for Vincennes Lincoln on Friday night.
The Vincennes Rivet Lady Patriots were successful on the road, and they defeated the Tecumseh Brave 58-49. Nezt up is a home game Thursday night, as they face Wood Memorial
The Vincennes Lincoln Alice wrestlers were defeated 69-12 last night by Heritage Hills. The two winners on the night for L-H-S were Jacob Duke at 196 points, and Donta Henderson at 126.
In middle school sports:
The North Knox Junior High 8th grade boys defated Olney last night 54-46. Brody Kerns led with 24, while Luke Patterson added 11 and Nate Kerns scored 10. In the 7th grade game, the Warriors were defeated by Olney, 45-37. Gavyn Primus led with 15, while Dakota Walk scored 9.
The Clasrk Middle School 8th grade boys defated Mount Carmel last night 44-34, behind 11 from Cayden Trueblood and 10 from Daveon Jennings. The 8th grade girls won 50-28 over North Daviess, paced by 20 from Mauriana Moore, and 10 from Mia Fleetwood.
The Clark Middle School sixth grade defeated Pike Central 45-15. Halle Turner scored 14, with Brinxley Davis adding 13.
The South Knox 6th grade girls ourscored North Daviess 32-2 last night. Brynn Leser led the Lady Spartans in that one with 20.
The North Knox Lady Warriors host Sullivan tonight at North Knox High school. The game features two quarters of JV starting at six; that means the varsity game is expected to start around 7 pm. You can hear that game on 105.7 and watch it on live video streaming at tocsportsnetwork.com.
