Temperatures are warming—but rain may also move in with the warmer weather, especially into the weekend. One thing National Weather Service forecaster Greg Melo warms against is ice breakups on both the White and Wabash rivers. Melo expects rain to come into the area as early as Thursday.
In this area, expected temperatures in the 40’s should keep the precipitation as all rain. That could also affect some snow melting in the area as the week goes on.
