The recent success of Knox County in landing an Amazon delivery center continues a run of high-profile business that has landed in the county. Amazon’s announced building plan joins Farbest Foods and F-I-A as large developments centering at the U-S 41 Industrial Park.
A major catalyst to get them to choose Knox County is the Knox County Indiana Ecnomic Development Corporation. Mary Jo Orlovsky is with K-C-I-E-D; she in turn credits the County’s great infrastructure advantages. Orlovsky mentions that positioning starts with great partnerships with the County’s infrastructure partners.
In Amazon’s case, they will build a 104-thousand square foot facility diagonally across from the Farbest plant. The new Amazon facility could be up and running by the end of the year.
