The Knox County Council has approved the Knox County Sheriff’s Department’s funder for use of “flock cams” in the county. Knox County Sheriff Doug Vantlin says the cameras have several security-based uses.
The flock cams will be installed at six separate well-traveled locations along major Knox County thoroughfares. No timetable for installation is set at this point.
