Installation is expected soon on a set of ‘flock cams” across heavily-traveled areas in Knox County. The mounted caneras will help Sheriff’s deputies with law enforcement issues.
Knox County Sheriff Doug Vantlin says the placement will be along state and U-S highways across the county.
One thing the camera will not do right now is measure speed. The main purpose for the flock cams is for vehicle identification.
