Lawrence, Other Illinois Counties Target of State Police Night Time Patrols

‘the Illinois State Police will target Lawrence and other counties for night time patrols throughout March. The focus will be prevention of both inpaired driving and seat belt related violations.
The increased night time patrols will be in place from nine each night to six th3e next morning. During that time, troopers will be looking for any violations of the Illinois Vehicle Code, along with the emphasis on impaired driving and lack of seatbelt usage.
The project is being funded through trhe Illinois Department of Transportation.
