A longtime camp destination for Knox County Salvation Army youth will get a facelift—but needs your help to finish the job.
The Salvation Army is launching a major renovation of its Hidden Falls Camp thanks to a three-million-dollar matching grant from Lilly Endowment. The funds will build a new year-round gymnasium and update cabins at the Bedford-area site.
To receive the full amount, the “Transforming Lives Initiative” must raise an additional three million dollars. Officials say the upgrades will ensure thousands of Indiana youth can continue to experience the outdoors and character-building programs for years to come.
