Infrastructure improvements continue at the U-S 41 Industrial Park, as part of a growth plan for Vincennes. The work with Vincennes Water Utilities and Knox County Indiana Economic Development has led to various businesses planting at the 41 Industrial Park.
The locating businesses were attracted in part by good infrastructure setups in the Industrial Park area. Some of those projects were, in large part, paid for by state READI funds. One of those is an extension of a water main from the Industrial Park southward. The water main extension was not cheap to complete– with a price tag af around 1.6 million dollars.
Along with Farbest and INDOT, an under construction Amazon distribution facility is also locating on that part of the 41 Industrial Park. All three of those groups are benefiting from the READI-funded infrastructure improvements in that area.
