Washington Community Schools Receives $250 Second Semester Teaching Innovator Grant

Our Community Foundation has awarded a $250 second-semester Teaching Innovator Grant to Washington Community Schools.

The grant will support Nurturing Nursery Rhymes; a program used in classrooms to promote cognitive development and literacy.

Washington Primary Teacher, Shelly Padgett, accepted the award and was named a Teaching Innovator.
