The Salvation Army of Indiana is seeking donations toward matching a three million dollar Lilly Endowment for improvements at its camp facility. The improvements will be to the Hidden Falls Camp just east of Bedford.
The Salvation Army is seeking the funds to make a dollar for dollar match to a grant Lilly has already provided. Knox County Salvation Army commander Joey Gates says it is a great place for kids to get away for a while. Gates also knows firsthand the camp’s worth, since he serves as one of the counselors for it each year.
