Vincennes Water Utilities Is preparing for the eventual start of the Amazon distribution plant, to locate in the US 41 Industrial Park near Vincennes. The 170-thousand square foot “last mile” delivery facility is being built now, for possible startup by the end of the year.
Vincennes Water Utilities general manager Kirk Bouchie is helping with the plant’s water needs; he says it isn’t a big water user—but it won’t be a small user either. Bouchie also knows the amount of workers there also means an added need for water.
The Amazon plant will locate in the southern end of the 41 Industrial Park, diagonally across from the Farbest facility.
