A week from Sunday marks the return of a 71-year TOC Direct Media tradition… the Civitan Radio Auction. This year’s auction will run from seven to nine-30 nightly, with this year’s Auction coming from the Bettye J. McCormick Senior Center in Vincennes.
Duane Chattin has been a long-time host for the Radio Auction. He says the basic bones of the Auction have been the same since it started in 1955. Chattin knows the Civitan auction has been a light-hearted five evenings—but with a serious purpose.
The auction is the Vincennes Civitan Club’s largest fund-raiser each year.
