AES Indiana and Google have filed a landmark proposal projected to save some Petersburg electric customers some money over the next fifteen years.
The agreement for a new Monrovia data center ensures Google pays for one-hundred percent of its own energy and infrastructure costs. The plan, which includes a one-point-three billion dollar investment in the local grid, now awaits final approval from state utility regulators. Along with Petersburg, AES is the primary electric provider for the City of Indianapolis
