Gas prices continue their skyrocket upward.
The Triple A Motor Club says the state’s average price is $4.42 per gallon, 33¢ higher than Wednesday and 12¢ higher than Thursday’s national average of $4.30 per gallon. It is also $1.25 higher than a year ago. Vincennes prices have steadied some, with many places selling gas around $4:25 to $4.30 per gallon.
Meanwhile Triple-A says the average price of diesel fuel in Indiana on Thursday was $5.50 a gallon, $1.91 higher than a year ago.
And the average EV charging price in Indiana is still steady at 42¢ per kilowatt hour.
