Beth Myers, age 76, of Bloomington, Indiana, passed away on May 13, 2026. She was born on September 6, 1949, in Vincennes, Indiana, and lived a life marked by compassion, simple joys, and the love she shared with those around her.
Beth was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Max W. and Dorothy I. “Miller” Myers. She is survived by her siblings, Kay, Wally, and Linda (Jeff); her nieces, Mendy, Cindy, and Sara (Kurt); her great-nephew, Beck; and many friends she acquired over the years. Those who knew Beth will remember her kind spirit, her friendly nature, and the way she brought a smile to others with her presence.
Beth enjoyed spending time with other residents at Stone Belt in Bloomington, where she took part in activities and shared in the companionship of those around her. She appreciated being included and found comfort and happiness in the routines and friendships that became part of her daily life.
She loved watching movies, playing bingo, and having her nails done. Beth also enjoyed going out for her favorite meals and sweet treats. Pizza, hamburgers from Five Guys, and milkshakes from Steak and Shake and Culver’s were among the things she especially loved. She also enjoyed new clothes and took pleasure in looking nice and feeling good. Beth was a devoted Indiana University fan and loved cheering on IU, sharing in the excitement and pride that came with supporting her team.
Beth will be remembered for her genuine heart and the happiness she found in familiar routines, good food, and time spent with others. Her family and friends will cherish the memories they made with her and the many moments of laughter and companionship she brought into their lives. Though she is no longer with them, her memory will remain a comforting presence in the hearts of those who loved her.
There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Bicknell Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children’s Hospital.
