George Weiss, age 69, of Vincennes, Indiana, passed away on May 15, 2026. He was born on October 19, 1956, in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, and lived a life marked by hard work, devotion to family, and a sense of humor that everyone loved.
George spent much of his life working as a truck driver, a career that took him everywhere. He was the kind of man who could be counted on to get the job done, and he carried that same steady spirit into every part of his life. Those who knew him will remember his companionship, his practical wisdom, and the pride he took in providing for the people he loved.
On July 20, 1984, George married the love of his life, Diana “Shots” Weiss. Their marriage was built on love, loyalty, and a lifetime of shared memories. He was an amazing husband and a devoted partner, and the bond they shared remained one of the greatest blessings of his life. Together, they built a family that was the center of his world.
George was a loving father and the greatest Poppy to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; he cherished every moment spent with them. His family was his greatest joy, and he loved them deeply and unconditionally. He took great pride in watching his family grow, and he treasured the laughter, milestones, and everyday moments they shared.
He is survived by his wife, Diana Weiss; his children, Gina Morby, Shanda Hudanick, and George Weiss Jr.; his fifteen grandchildren; his six great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Vicki Richmond, Kimberly Condiff, and Ronnie Weiss. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Sr. and Joan “Wiedenhoeft” Weiss; his son, Stevie Willis Jr.; and his siblings, Pete Weiss and Christy Bronx. The love of his family remained a constant source of strength throughout his life, and his memory will continue to live on in each of them.
George was known not only for his dedication and love but also for his playful personality. He loved to joke around and had a way of bringing smiles to those around him. He also enjoyed shopping on Temu, especially when he found new shirts, and he took delight in the simple pleasures that made him happy.
He will be remembered as a man who loved his family and grandchildren with all his heart, who worked hard, laughed often, and lived with sincerity. His life was a reflection of devotion, strength, and love, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he is no longer here, the memories he created and the love he gave will remain forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
