John H. Coyle, age 69, of Vincennes, Indiana, passed away on June 3, 2026. He was born on July 2, 1956, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and lived a life marked by dedication and the simple joys that brought him happiness each day.
John graduated from high school and went on to build a steady and respected career as a CNC Machinist. He was known for his strong work ethic, his dependable nature, and the pride he took in doing his job well.
On July 3, 1993, in Grant County, Indiana, John married his wife, Sharon Lee “Dione” Coyle. Their marriage was a lasting partnership built on love, companionship, and shared memories. Together, they created a home filled with care, laughter, and the comfort of being with one another through life’s many seasons.
John found joy in the things he loved most. He enjoyed listening to music and following racing, and he was a devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He appreciated the familiar comforts of a good game, a favorite song, and being surrounded by the love of his family.
He is survived by his son, John DeMarco (Jessica); his daughter, Toni-Ann Potwin (Andy); his six grandchildren; his two great-grandchildren; and his sister. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Coyle; his parents, William P. and Georgette M. “Bonneau” Coyle; and his brothers, William and Edward Coyle.
John will be remembered with love by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His life was one of steady presence, enduring affection, and quiet strength. Though he is no longer with those who loved him, the memories he leaves behind will remain a lasting source of comfort and gratitude.
