Duke Energy is accused by Indiana’s top utility customer advocate of overcharging ratepayers.
Indiana Utility Consumer Counselor Abby Gray filed an appeal of the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission’s approval of a rate increase for Duke.
Citizens Action Coalition as well as some industrial ratepayers have joined the appeal.
Gray’s office says Duke over-collected more than 89-million-dollars.
