A Knox Circuit Court jury found a Vincennes man guilty yesterday on a single count of domestic battery. After 40 minutes of deliberation, the jury convicted 57 year-old Jon Borden.
Borden was convicted on an incident that happened on November 11th of last year.. According to Knox County Prosecutor Dirk Carnahan, this is Borden’s 27th overall conviction, with 13 of those being felony charges. He also admitted to be a habitual offender, allowing for an enhanced jail sentence.
Circuit Court Judge Monica Gilmore set his sentencing hearing for next month.
