A Midwest parasitic infection has reached central Indiana.
The Marion County Public Health Department reports 15 recent cyclosporiasis cases, an intestinal infection that causes explosive diarrhea.
Officials say previous years saw four or fewer cases.
Such outbreaks are often linked to produce, but the source has not been identified.
Michigan health officials report nearly 1,000 cases since late June.
