A new set of residences is starting to filter into Knox County, as part of an overall strategy to improve and expanding housing in the county. The first large scale project—Bierhaus Flats– is partially complete.
Knox County Commissioners’ president T-J Brink knows the first part of that over 200-unit complex is done—and it isn’t alone. Brink also remarks more apartment units aren’t the only thing needed—and that developers are also working on single family residences.
The aim is to allow many people who work in Knox County, but live outside of the county, to move here—closer to the places where they work.
