Back to school activities start next week in many school districts across the area. It is also construction season on area highways, with restrictions and closures all across the area.
Knox County Sheriff Doug Vantlin reminds everyone restrictions are in place on a couple of the County’s main highways– including U-S 50 and U-S 41.
Some of the projects—including work on the Hart Street overpass at U-S 41—could continue into early in the school year. Drivers are reminded to watch for construction areas, watch their speed, and make sure they are safety aware for at least the next few months.
