Vincennes’ native Cody Biggs has been promoted to the Army rank of Lieutenant Colonel following confirmation by the U-S Senate. Biggs will get the official promotion pinning in a ceremony on Sunday at the Clark Memorial in downtown Vincennes. Current Lieutenant Colonel Aaron Lange will preside over the coming ceremony.
Biggs is a 2005 graduate of Vincennes Lincoln, and was first commissioned as an officer in 2010. For the last year, he has served at the Army Human Resources Command in Fort Knox, Kentucky. He had also served earlier as a military science assistant professor at Ohio State University. He currently holds a Masters’ Degree from the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
