Naomi J. Neukam, 93, of Washington, Indiana passed away on August 4, 2026. She was born in Washington, Indiana on April 30, 1933, to the late Roscoe Miller and Velma Wilcoxen. Naomi married the love of her life, Ray Neukam, on September 21, 1951. In her free time, Naomi enjoyed spending time with her family, hunting mushrooms, picking blackberries, sitting on the porch with her neighbor Norma VanLue, and spending time with her animals. She will be deeply missed.
Naomi is preceded in death by her biological father Roscoe Miller; parents Velma and Hobart Wilcoxen; husband Ray Neukam; children Sherry (Jack) Arvin, Dan Neukam, Carla Barry; granddaughter Nikki Neukam; brothers Lee Wilcoxen, Eugene Wilcoxen, Bill Wilcoxen; sisters-in-law Rosemary Wilcoxen, Beverly Wilcoxen, Mary Beth Wilcoxen; 2 great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons Steve (Diane) Neukam and David (Debbie) Neukam; 12 grandchildren; son-in-law Marty Barry; sister-in-law Aggie Wilcoxen; and several great, great-great, and great-great-great-grandchildren.
Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Neukam. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2026, from 11 to 1 pm at 2020 State Street. The Funeral Service will begin promptly at 1 pm with entombment at Sugarland Memory Garden following immediately.
