Vincennes Police continue their weekday patrols of school zones during drop-off and pick-up times. The patrols are to encourage driver safety with kids going both to and from school.
V-P-D Chief Jon Hillenbrand reminds everyone those patrols are not just something they do early n the year—but all school year long.
Drivers are also reminded to follow school bus stop arm safety rules. That means when a school bus stop arm is out—even on four lane highways—all traffic must stop in both directions.
